Sony announced 16 upcoming titles coming to the PlayStation 5. Announced at the Summer Game Fest 2026, these games will give players a look at sequels, remakes, and new IPs set to arrive in 2026 and 2027.
Among the biggest reveals, Final Fantasy VII Revelation is confirmed for 2027, continuing the saga against Sephiroth with expanded exploration and combat. Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of Code: Veronica, also arrives in 2027 with modern visuals and gameplay.
Ubisoft announced Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, launching July 9 with a new trailer featuring Woodkid’s reimagined sea shanty. Remedy unveiled Control Resonant, set in a paranatural Manhattan, coming September 24. Crossfire, the debut project from That’s No Moon, blends cinematic storytelling with stealth combat.
Other highlights include gen Atlas, an open‑world adventure from the creators of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and Guild Wars 3, which brings the franchise to consoles for the first time with beta tests in fall 2027. Gundam Rogue Orbit and Lords of the Fallen II add more action to the lineup, while Mafia: The Old Country – Man of Honor DLC expands Enzo Favara’s story on August 14.
Fans can also expect RuneScape: Dragonwilds on September 15, Star Wars: Galactic Racer on October 6, and The Blood of Dawnwalker on September 3. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds teased crossover DLCs with TMNT, Avatar, Godzilla, and Evangelion.
