TMNT: The Last Ronin game announced for console and PC

Paramount Games Studio and Skydance have announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin at Summer Game Fest in Los Angeles. The game is being developed by Platinum Games and marks Paramount’s first big project under its new gaming division.

The Last Ronin is based on the comic series of the same name. It tells the story of the lone surviving Ninja Turtle on a mission for vengeance. The teaser trailer shows a darker tone compared to past TMNT games, leaning into its AAA action-adventure style. No release date yet, but it’s confirmed for both console and PC.

To accompany the reveal, Paramount also introduced a limited BossLogic collection featuring apparel and poster art. More tie-ins are expected as the game gets closer to launch.

Fans of the comics will also get a prequel story. IDW Publishing is releasing The Last Ronin: Training Day on July 9. Written by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, it follows Michelangelo as he trains Casey Marie Jones, setting up events that connect to the game.
