Crystal Dynamics is bringing Lara Croft back with Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, set to launch on February 12, 2027 for PlayStation 5. The release rolls out a day later in Japan, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
The game is co-developed with Flying Wild Hog under Amazon Game Studios and built on Unreal Engine 5. It reimagines the original 1996 Tomb Raider, expanding classic locations like Peru’s Lost Valley and the ruins of Greece.
Players will explore semi-connected environments filled with secrets, collectibles, and resources, alongside puzzles redesigned to feel more natural in the world.
Legacy of Atlantis mixes nostalgia with modern gameplay. Familiar challenges such as the cog puzzle return, but with updated mechanics. The design caters to longtime fans while staying accessible for newcomers.
