Sony released the Cyber Shot DSC-HX99 and the Cyber Shot DSC-WX800 to the Philippine market.

Most people rely on smartphones for vacation photos. But for some people, they want the quality and versatility that only dedicated cameras can provide. Enter, Sony with their new travel super zooms.
Recently, Sony Philippines announced the availability of two new high zoom travel cameras. The Sony Cyber Shot HX99 and the Sony Cyber Shot WX800 feature a versatile zoom range of 24mm wide up to 720mm super telephoto.
The new cameras come with 4K video and the BIONZ X image processing engine that can deliver high-speed continuous shooting at u to 10fps. The new models also have fast AF speeds of 0.09 seconds, and new features such as EYE AF, Touch Focus/Touch Shutter functions, and location data through Bluetooth.
The Sony DSC-HX99 can shoot in RAW format and a maximum ISO6400. It has a customizable Control Ring that can be used for zooming or focussing. It also comes with an upgraded grip for a secure hold and stability while shooting.

Both cameras have Optical SteadyShot, which negates camera shake for blur free images when shooting handheld and telephoto. They also come with 180-degrees tilting LCD, and Bluetooth connectivity for record location from smartphones.
The Sony HX99 and the Sony WX800 are priced at PHP28,999 and PHP25,999, respectively. Both cameras are now available in Sony Centers and authorized dealers nationwide.
