Vivo V15 Pro features a pop-up selfie camera, in-display fingerprint scanner

The Vivo V15 Pro is now official. Recently launched in India, this is the latest phone to sport a motorized pop-up front camera.

The V15 Pro’s highlight feature include the motorized pop-up selfie camera with a 32MP sensor; And the the triple rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor with pixel binning tech, an 8MP Ultrawide, and a 5MP for depth information.

Up front, the Vivo V15 Pro comes with a 6.39-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with no notch and very thin bezels, giving it an impressive 85.9% screen-to-body ratio. It also has a 5th gen in-display fingerprint reader, a DCI-P3 color gamut, and an Always-On mode.

Inside, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor paired with 6/8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 3,700mAh battery with fast charge and Funtouch 9 based on Android Pie.

Other features include a dedicated button shared by Jovi and Google Assistant, face recognition, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The V15 Pro is priced at INR 28,990 in India. That’s roughly PHP 21,300 or USD 408. The handset is set to be released in the Philippines in the next months. Local pricing will be announced there.
