The Realme is set to announce a new flagship called the Realme X on May 15, 2019 in China.
While the Philippines will be getting the Realme 3 Pro on that date, the company will also unveil its newest flagship, the Realme X, on the same day in Beijing, China. The phone is said to come with a pop-up selfie camera and an almost bezel-less, notchless display.
According to reports, there are going to be at least two versions of the phone — the Realme X and the Realme X Youth Edition (Realme Lite in some markets).
Unfortunately, we don’t know what the Realme X would look like. There are speculations, though, that it might resemble the OPPO F11 Pro. A recent teaser video from Realme featured a phone with a pop-up selfie camera. And since they are an OPPO subsidiary, it’s reasonable to think that that could be the one.
Rumored specs have the Realme X packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, a 48MP rear camera, and a notchless display. The Realme X Youth Edition, on the other hand, could have specs similar to the Realme 3 Pro, which means Snapdragon 710 (or possibly the 730) and dual cameras.
In any case, we’ll find out on May 15. We’ll keep you posted.
