Huawei is rolling out a firmware update for the Huawei P30 Pro. The said update will improve the image quality of the phone’s cameras.
Despite all that’s happening, it’s business as usual on this front as the company continues support to existing devices.
The latest update makes some changes to how the phone handles photos, particularly on the colors. The color temperature and HDR were also tweaked, in favor of a more realistic and authentic look.
The update also brings “fixes to abnormal display of videos recorded by the front camera.”
If you haven’t received the update yet, don’t panic. It’s a gradual roll out so it will take sometime before everyone gets it.

The Huawei P30 Pro has a 6.47-inch full HD+ OLED display, a dewdrop notch with a 32MP selfie camera, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. It has an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 4200mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge, 15W wireless charging, and reverse charging.
In the camera department, the P30 Pro features four Leica cameras at the back — 40MP main, 16MP ultra-wide lens, 8MP 3x telephoto, and a Time-of-Flight (TOF) for depth sensing. It’s also capable of up to 50x digital zoom.
The Huawei P30 Pro is priced at PHP 50,990. You can purchase one through credit card with up to 24-month installments at 0% interest.
