Apparently, a limited number of units has a potential safety issue where a screw in the folding apparatus can come loose. This will cause the vertical component (the shaft with the handle) to separate from the main body while in use.
A total of 10,257 scooters are affected with serial numbers ranging from 21074/00000316 – 21074/00015107 and 16133/00541209 – 16133/00544518.
