Cherry Mobile recently announced its new Flare S8 series. The budget series come with three handsets — the Flare S8 Plus, the Flare S8 Pro, and the Flare S8, one of which comes with pop-up dual cameras.
As with all Cherry Mobile smartphones, the Flare S8 series comes with pocket friendly prices. Availability is schedule at the end of August 2019.

As you can see with the prices, Cherry Mobile has packed these phones with as much value as possible, offering specs not usually found in their respective price points. Obviously, these are for people who are looking for capable smartphones at friendly price points who don’t mind the local tag.
Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Plus
The Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Plus is the first local smartphone to boast a motorized pop-up camera, let alone a dual one. It has 16MP + 2MP sensors. This allows the phone to have an expansive 6.26-inch full HD display with distracting notch or punch hole anywhere.
Inside, the phone is powered by a 2.1GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with a microSD expansion slot. There’s also a3,250mAh battery which charges on a USB Type-C port.

The Flare S8 Plus has three cameras at the back consisting of 16MP, 5MP, and 2MP sensors. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and Android 9 Pie.

Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Pro
The Cherry Mobile Flare S8 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch HD display with a teardrop notch. It has a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and a large 4,000mAh battery.
It has 20MP + 5MP dual cameras at the back, along with the fingerprint sensor. In front, there’s a 20MP selfie camera on the aforementioned teardrop notch.

The Flare S8 Pro runs on Android 9 Pie. It also has face unlock and a USB Type-C port.

And finally, the cheapest member of the series, the Cherry Mobile Flare S8 has a 6.26-inch HD display with a teardrop notch, a 2.3GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, and a 2,800mAh battery.
There’s a 13MP + 2MP dual camera module at the back, together with a fingerprint scanner, and a 13MP selfie camera in front. It also has a USB Type-C port, face unlock, and Android 9 Pie.
