When Netflix officially debuted in the Philippines in 2016, it had a limited number of shows and a small number of subscribers. But as 2019 came to a close, more shows (and more people) are on the streaming service like never before.
Netflix came out with a list of the most popular releases in the Philippines for 2019. Being the geek that I am, I have seen The Witcher, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, and Kingdom, plus Isn’t It Romantic and Always Be My Maybe (because I secretly enjoy romantic comedies).

Netflix PH’s list has piqued my curiosity, and I have since added some of the shows on my own watchlist.
