5 good reasons why the Realme C3 is the budget phone to have

Realme is off to a great start this year. The brand is launching its latest budget phone, the Realme C3, in the Philippines this March.

You’re probably curious to know what it offers. So we’re here to take a look at the Realme C3’s best features. Here are 5 good reasons why the Realme C3 is the budget phone for you.

Realme C3 Initial Review

1. Design

The Realme C3 comes with that familiar Realme design we love — its clean and minimalist. It has an attractive curvy body with a textured back that’s resistant to fingerprints. Plus the new color Blazing Red give it that edgy look, punching above its perceived price point.

2. Large Display

The Realme C3 features a 6.52-inch HD+ IPS display with a 1600 x 720 resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Its large and perfect for watching videos and playing games. Granted that its only HD, but its more than enough for most uses.

3. Large Battery

What use is a gaming phone if it won’t last long? Thanks to the Realme C3’s 5000mAh battery, that won’t be much of a problem. The phone also has reverse charging, allowing you to quickly top-up compatible devices. And it has a 5V 2A fast charger in the retail box as well.

4. Triple Cameras

There are few budget phones that can match the shooting versatility of the Realme C3. The phone comes with three rear cameras — 12MP f/1.8 main, 2MP portrait, and 2MP macro. It also has beauty mode, ultra macro, panoramic, and expert. It even has time lapse and slo-mo modes.

5. Gaming Processor

One of the main highlights of the Realme C3 is its gaming capabilities. And that’s all thanks to the Helio G70 on-board. The SoC is MediaTek’s gaming focused chip for midrange phones. It comes with two high performance Arm cores in an octa-core CPU.

For those who like benchmarks, the handset got a score of 181,416 on AnTuTu Benchmark. Here’s the score’s breakdown:

  • CPU – 73,738
  • GPU – 29,436
  • MEM – 38,674
  • UX – 39,568

5.5 Price

I have not included price as one of 5 reasons (hence 5.5) mainly because Realme PH has not announced it yet. But this is Realme we’re talking about. So we’re expecting the Realme C3 to be affordable. We just don’t know how affordable.

That’s it for our top 5 reasons. The Realme C3 will officially launch in the Philippines on March 5, 2020. Stay tuned in the coming days for more details.
