A few days ago, it was found out that the OnePlus 8 Pro’s camera has a color filter that can see through some materials like plastic and clothing. An x-ray camera, if you will.
Because of the potential privacy issues and problems it poses, OnePlus has set to “limit” the feature through an upcoming over-the-air update.
The company has also temporarily disabled the filter on HydrogenOS due to some false and misleading information circulating on social media in China. The filter will not be removed it from OxygenOS. They will just send a fix to limit or remove the x-ray part.

The feature in question is the Photochrom filter. When used, it is supposed to create infrared photographs which creates stunning effects and colors.
