ASUS is set to launch the gaming ROG Phone 3 on July 22, 2020. The announcement was made on Weibo, meaning it will launch in China first with partner Tencent.
ASUS did not include any specs details, but we do get a glimpse of it thanks to a listing on Chinese certification site, TENAA.
So what does the gaming phone offer? According to the listing, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 will have a look that closely resembles the ROG Phone 2. It will have a large 6.59-inch AMOLED display with full HD resolution. While the refresh rate wasn’t listed, we’re expecting it to run 120Hz.
Under the hood, it will have one of the most powerful processors in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset with 16GB RAM and three storage options — 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. We’re probably going to see an overclocked chipset.
