ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has rolled out the 2026 Strix Gaming Laptop series in the Philippines, featuring upgraded displays, cooling, and hardware for local gamers. The lineup includes the Strix G16, Strix G18, and Strix SCAR 18.
The Strix G16 and G18 come with 2.5K ROG Nebula Displays and 300Hz refresh rates. Inside are Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, built for high‑performance gaming.
Cooling uses vapor chambers and liquid metal, cutting temps by up to 15°C. Prices in the Philippines start at ₱159,995 and go up to ₱319,995, depending on specs.
The flagship Strix SCAR 18 is the first laptop with an 18‑inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED panel using Nebula ELMB. It can be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU and the same Intel Core Ultra 9 chip.
Cooling upgrades include thicker vapor chambers, redesigned fans, and a new heatsink. Local SRP is ₱439,995.
All models support tool‑less RAM and SSD upgrades, Aura RGB lighting, and AniMe Vision LED personalization. Bundles include an ROG backpack, gaming mouse, Office 2024 Lifetime License, cloud storage, and a 3‑month PC Game Pass.
