Moovr PH app to launch e-scooter and bicycle-sharing services in BGC

Local e-scooter and bicycle-sharing app Moover PH is going to launch its services this December, starting in Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

Moover PH is the country’s first e-scooter and bike sharing app. In its initial run in BGC, the service will start with a fleet of 200 single speed bikes and 20 Segway Ninebot Pro Max e-scooters, with 14 hubs.

To use the service, just download the Moovr PH app from the Play Store or the Apple App Store, load credits via GCash or credit and debit cards, and scan the QR code of the bike or e-scooter to officiate the rental.

Rented vehicles can be used for a maximum to 24 hours, while e-scooters have to be returned if the battery level falls below 15 percent. For those squeamish about cleanliness, the bikes and e-scooters are regularly sanitized and disinfected.

Rates starts at Php 15 for 15 minutes or Php 60 per hour for bikes, and Php 50 for 20 minutes or Php 150 per hour for e-scooters.

Moovr PH plans to make the service available to other areas in the Philippines soon.

  1. its my first time to use the e-scooter in Filinvest.. I have no idea on how to use it untill someone told me to 1st download the moover apps then regidyer which I dfid.. untill later on was able to use it already and tried for a couple of mins. later on I heard the alarm so I guess it time to return already in which I did.. and go back to our car just park nearby.. But the light is not going off so I go back and check it out again.. I saw the lights are still on including the small monitor so I taught it still alright to use it untill we decided to go home already.. park the scooter again and about to go.. but when I check my mobile phone its charging in the car because the battery is dead while using the e-scooter there is a text message that says “We noticed you still have an ongoing ride with us. Once you’re done with your rental, kindly follow in-app instructions for ending your ride. Please note riders sre liable for their rented device for the duration of their ride on the app. Thank you.” So upon reading it immediately I go back were i return the e-scooter and open the moover apps again then click the end ride then took a picture of it.. then there you go the e-scooter turn off already and the moover apps says your ride cost 250 so already paid 200 earkier the question is… how to pay the P50.00? I taught it automatically they will charge me extra P50 in my Gcash already.. Can anyone from moover app advise me on how to pay the balance? Thank you.

  2. For me, it’s not useful. Most people in BGC don’t live there. Walkable halos lahat ng BGC. If for fun yung idea, for the casual cyclist that doesn’t own a cycle or e-scooter, usually walang dalang mga helmet ang newbs. I don’t think it’s gonna work to be honest.
