Areas with Smart 5G coverage in the PH

As most of you may know, Smart Communications’ 5G network recently went live last July 30, 2020. It is still in its initial phase, but its open to Smart Signature, Infinity and other Smart postpaid subscribers.

At the moment, the 5G network is available in key business districts of Metro Manila. To access it, you need a 5G-activated Smart SIM card and a Smart-certified 5G smartphone.

If you’re keen to try it out, here are the areas where you can get a connection.

  • Makati Central Business District (CBD)
  • Bonifacio Global City CBD
  • SM Megamall
  • Mall of Asia Bay Area

Smart is also rolling out its 5G network in these high-traffic areas. The keyword here is “rolling out,” meaning they are in the installation phase of the project.

  • North Avenue, Quezon City
  • Taft Avenue, Manila
  • Ortigas CBD
  • Clark Green City, Pampanga

Meanwhile, Smart has been busy in the past weeks. They launched NBA.Smart portal where subscribers can watch live NBA games. While on August 3, Smart announced their latest endorser, CLOY star Son Ye Jin. The actress joins her CLOY co-star, Hyun Bin, as the face of Smart Signature.
