Smart recorded zero dropped calls in the latest National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) drive tests across Metro Manila, showing strong network reliability and consistent mobile performance.
The NTC’s benchmark requires dropped calls to stay below two percent. Smart hit a perfect zero, meeting the regulator’s standard and highlighting its stable voice network. The test also measured mobile broadband speeds, with Smart reaching up to 377 Mbps along San Francisco Street in Mandaluyong City.
Smart said it will continue working with the NTC to improve service quality and customer experience. The company’s performance was also validated by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through its September 2026 Oplan Bantay Signal report, which monitors mobile network performance nationwide.
In that report, Smart maintained a “Good” rating with a score of 80.3 and an average download speed of 52.22 Mbps, marking its fifth straight month of top performance. The network also earned recognition from Ookla for delivering the Best Mobile Video Experience in the Philippines for the first half of 2026.
