Hyun Bin is Smart’s latest endorser

Smart Communications recently unveiled their latest campaign “Simple, Smart Ako” featuring K-drama superstar Hyun Bin as its latest endorser. This is the first time a local telecoms company has tapped a South Korean celebrity to be the face of a brand.

Hyun Bin has stared on many popular K-drama series such as Secret Garden (2010), Memories of Alhambra (2018), and most recently, Crash Landing on You.

“The ‘Hyun Bin Phenomenon’ is pretty much due to digital technology –  Filipinos have developed the craze because they are able to stream his shows, hear the buzz about him online, share their excitement with their friends, and even get to interact with him through social media,” said Jane Basas, SVP and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.

Smart’s latest campaign entitled “Simple. Smart Ako” sums up their approach to make technology available to every Filipino, headlined by the Smart LTE network and their value-for-money Giga promos.
