Here are some of the things you need to know about their service, including compatible smartphones, their welcome offer, location availability, and more.
Compatible Smartphones
DITO uses different hardware for its network, necessitating compatible phones for you to be able to fully maximize their service.
One requirement we are aware of is the need for VoLTE or Voice Over LTE capable device. If your phone doesn’t have the feature, then there’s a chance you’ll get limited functionality on DITO.

DITO SIM cards can be purchased in DITO retail outlets or the DITO online store. Prepaid load credits are available on the DITO mobile app or in DITO retail outlets.
The regular DITO SIM card is priced at Php 40.00. It comes with 1GB mobile data valid for 7 days.
On the DITO Telecommunity official store on Shopee and Lazada, the DITO SIM retails for Php 199 and comes with the 25GB High Speed Data promo.

DITO has recently announced its new promo. For just Php 199, users get 25GB of mobile data, valid for 30-days. It is available from April 16 to May 16, 2021 June 30, 2021.
This value-for-money offer also comes with unlimited DITO-to-DITO calls and texts, call waiting, call forwarding, video over LTE, and unlimited texts and 300 mins calls to other mobile networks.

- Upon receipt of the DITO SIM Card, insert the SIM in your compatible device.
- Activate DITO SIM Card by connecting to data, attempting first call or first text.
- You will receive a confirmation via the DITO App and Text on the activation of the DITO SIM Card.

Infinix Hero 8 is not on the list also. i can’t find the “VoLTE”.
Even if it has VoLTE, the feature might not appear in the settings. If it does, then just activate it and test calls and text.

The redmi 6a is not on their list. But you can try it. If you can activate VoLTE on the phone’s settings, it should work. DITO relies on VoLTE for calls. Data should work as long as you have the correct APN settings.

It could work for data but there’s a big chance you might not be able to access calls and texts since the tablet is not listed as a compatible device.

The Samsung Galaxy A20e is not on DITO’s list of compatible phones. You can give it a try. Data and texting will most likely work. Ang likely issue would be baka walang calls. Kailangan ma activate VoLTE for calls. I’ve read people having issues sa calls.

Try activating VoLTE. My friends had similar issues. Turn on mobile data, then turn on VoLTE. Test if you can make calls then.

The handset is not on DITO’s list of compatible devices, so it might not work. You can try checking in your phone’s settings, under network settings for VoLTE. If its there, activate it. If not, you might need to get in touch with DITO’s customer service.
