You can soon register your SIM cards in telco stores and centers

Are you having issues with registering your SIM cards? Well, don’t fret. SIM card registration assistance services will soon be available in telco service and retail centers, said the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).

SIM card registration opened in the Philippines on December 27, 2022, prompting users of over 160 million SIM cards to register in their respective telcos. During the first couple of days, subscribers were met with various problems and other difficulties. The NTC calls on the telcos to do something about the issue.

Meanwhile, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) recently launched a 24/7 complaint center where you can report issues and concerns related to SIM card registration. You can call the hotline by dialing 1326.
