Xiaomi recently launched an affordable new gaming phone. Named the POCO F3 GT, it comes with powerful internals, gaming features, and 5G.
The POCO F3 GT isn’t entirely novel, sharing many features to another affordable gaming phone, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. That said, the F3 GT is still plenty powerful with very capable specs.
At the front, the new phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+, topped by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. At the top center, there’s a punch-hole cutout that houses a 16MP selfie camera.
Insider, the phone ispowered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G with 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB options. It has a sizeable 5,065mAh battery with a blazing fast 67W fast charging.
At the back, you have a triple camera setup with a 64MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro camera.

Among its gaming features, you have the physical maglev triggers at the side. It has a vapor cooling chamber to keep thermals in check. And finally, POCO added Game Turbo, which lets you adjust settings for better performances.
Capping off the feature set, the POCO F3 GT also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, JBL-tuned stereo speakers, and MIUI 12.5 on top of Android 11.

The POCO F3 GT starts at INR 26,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model, INR 28,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model, and INR 30,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model.
Converted to Philippine prices, that’s around Php 18,300+, Php 19,600+, and Php 21,000+, respectively.
The POCO F3 GT is set to launch in the Philippines on July 28, 2021.
