OPPO announces the OPPO Reno6 5G for the Philippine market, priced at Php 26,999.
And just like the rest of the Reno series, the Reno6 5G’s highlight features are its cameras. The handset rocks a 64MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro cameras at the back. While at the front, a 32MP selfie snapper is tucked in a punch hole. The rear cameras are supported by a dedicated color temperature sensor, that is said to improve color accuracy, white balance, and shutter speed.
The Reno 6 5G has a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display stacked with features. First of, it has a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 93.28%DCI-P3 and 135.13%sRGB color profiles. Moreover, the handset has 360-degree light sensing with sensors on the front and back to create an accurate automatic screen brightness control.
The phone features a new Ultra-Slime Retro Design with flat-edged frame, similar to the iPhone 12. The fingerprint-proof finish, which they call OPPO Reno Glow, uses over 20 patents to create the unique effect.
Under the hood, the Reno6 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 with 5G. It’s paired with an 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage. It has no expansion slot nor does it have a headphone jack.

Battery capacity is at 4300mAh, which isn’t bad. But what’s impressive about it is the USB-C 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 which OPPO says can top-up the handset to 100% in just 28 minutes.

The OPPO Reno6 5G has a price of Php 26,999 in the Philippines. It is available for pre-order from August 7 to 27 and will be in stores starting on the 28th.
You can get it on Shopee, Lazada, local telcos Smart and Globe, and through Home Credit.
