OPPO has launched ColorOS 17 based on Android 17, with rollout starting in October 2026 for flagship devices from OPPO, OnePlus, and realme. The update brings a new Fluid Design, faster performance, and expanded AI features.
ColorOS 17 introduces smoother animations inspired by liquid glass, powered by the Polar Light Engine. OPPO says app startup time and memory use are cut by about 25%, while rendering workload drops by 30%.
A new Tidal Engine improves background app stability by 55%. The AI assistant now has a dedicated task space, call tools, and memory features to help manage daily use.
The rollout begins in October for OPPO Find N6, Find X9 series, OnePlus 15 and 15T, and realme GT8 Pro. More devices will follow in monthly batches through December and early 2027. OPPO’s official upgrade plan confirms a wide list of supported phones, tablets, and watches.

The update will roll out in stages, so your device may get it later depending on region and model. OPPO, OnePlus, and realme users can expect the new features to arrive over the next few months.
