ASUS has released its Android 12 update schedule for the ROG Phone and Zenfone flagships.
The Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip will get the stable Android 12 update starting December 2021. Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 5 and 5s will get it sometime during Q1 of 2022, and the ROG Phone 3 sometime in the first half of 2022.
According to ASUS, the update will inherit the major functional changes introduced in the official version of Android 12, as well as continuing the ASUS battery- and performance-management features.

Zenfone models will come with ZenUI-specific changes that allow easier navigation, streamlined control panels, increased visibility for better control, and more customization options.
