Qualcomm dominates AnTuTu’s Global Top 10 Best Performing Android phones list for Dec. 2021

AnTuTu recently released its top 10 list of the best performing Android flagship and mid-range phones for December 2021. And looking at both lists, the real winner here is Qualcomm.

The global Android phone performance ranking list is still dominated by phones powered by the Snapdragon 888 and 888 Plus. While in the mid-range segment, the Snapdragon 778G reigns over others.

On the flagship list, the top three handsets are gaming phones. It’s no surprise, given that these often come with overclocked processors, fast RAM and storage, as well as some sort of cooling system (which is essential to get the best performance possible).

In January 2022, Qualcomm-powered devices will remain at the top of the list, especially with the release of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. On the mid-range side, it’s probably going to be the same. But we do expect to see more MediaTek devices as more smartphone manufacturers use the Dimensity 9000 and Dimensity 8000 chips.
