NetEase unveils Valorant clone Hyper Front

NetEase Games unveiled the trailer for its latest first-person shooter (FPS), Hyper Front. The game shows shades of comparison to Valorant.

Hyper Front is a 5v5 hero-based FPS mobile game of power-wielding individuals mixed in with gunplay. It is available in Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Thailand. You can check it out here.

Looking at the trailer, you’ll see the familiar design and gaming style. From the stages to the characters and their powers, you’ll be reminded of Valorant. As noted in this report, Thunder, the first character shown in the trailer, for instance, has abilities like Valorant’s new Filipino agent, Neon.

But not all is the same. One difference though is how the heroes look. Hyper Front chose an anime style to their design, as opposed to Valorant’s more Western style of animation. Regardless, I suspect many will appreciate it.

Hyper Front is now available for Android devices on the Play Store.
