OPPO Find X5, Find X5 Pro official with Hasselblad cameras, Marisilicon X NPU, 80W fast charging

OPPO announced its latest flagships, the OPPO Find X5 and the Find X5 Pro. These are the first handsets to benefit from the brand’s partnership with Hasselblad.

Both devices feature Hasselblad’s Natural Color Calibration which uses a 13-channel color sensor for better-looking images and a dedicated 6nm MariSilicon X NPU chip that uses AI to reduce noise and boost overall image quality.

The handsets also have a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor and OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide, also with an IMX766, and a 13MP telephoto that supports up to 5X hybrid zoom and up to 20x digital zoom. A 36MP front camera is also onboard for selfies.

The Find X5 Pro lives up to its Pro branding with a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a dynamic refresh rate that ranges from 1Hz to 120Hz, HDR10+ support, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. It’s powered by the latest 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.

The phone also has a 5000mAh battery with a faster 80W wired fast charging and a 50W wireless fast charging.

Meanwhile, the vanilla Find X5 has a smaller 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4800mAh battery with 80W wired and 30W wireless fast charging.

As for their prices, expect to shell out some cash for the premium phones. The OPPO Find X5 Pro starts at EUR 1,299 (around ~Php 75,000). While the Find X5 will retail for EUR 999 (around ~Php 57,600).

The flagships will be available in select markets from March 14. No information yet for a Philippine release.
