Huawei nova 9 SE official with 108MP cam; To launch in the Philippines on March 16

The Huawei nova 9 SE is now official, quietly showing up on Huawei’s Malaysian website. It is the company’s first phone to boast a 108MP camera.

The nova 9 SE was heavily teased by Huawei Philippines as well. It was announced that the handset is scheduled for launch in the country on March 16, with availability set on March 18.

You can watch the livestream of the March 16 event at 6PM on Huawei Philippines’ online channels.

As for the specs, the Huawei nova 9 SE features a 90Hz 6.78-inch FHD display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.

The 108MP main camera is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide and two 2MP cameras for macro and depth. It also has a 16MP selfie camera in front under a punch-hole cutout.

The phone also features dual-band Wi-Fi, a side fingerprint scanner, a 4000mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge, and EMUI 12.

As for the price, Huawei’s Malaysian site lists the nova 9 SE at RM 1,099, which is around ~Php 13,700. We’ll find out more details (including the official local price) when it launches in the Philippines on March 16.
