realme 8, 8i to get 1k price drop starting April 1

realme is dropping the price of the popular realme 8 and realme 8i starting April 1, 2022. This isn’t an April Fool’s joke, with the brand slashing as much as Php 1,000 off on both devices.

Starting April 1, the realme 8 8GB+128GB will be priced at Php 12,990, while the realme 8i 6GB+128GB will retail for Php 10,990. The handsets’ original prices were Php 13,990 and Php 11,990, respectively.

To recap, the realme 8 features a 6.5-inch FHS AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset, a 64MP quad-camera setup, a 16MP selfie camera, and a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

The realme 8i, on the other hand, has a 120Hz 6.5-inch FHD IPS display, a MediaTek Helio G96 processor, a 50MP triple camera setup, and a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
