Smart Omega wins the Call of Duty Mobile Garena Masters II, beating the reigning champions Blacklist Ultimate.
Smart Omega’s road to victory was not easy. Earlier in the tournament, Blacklist beat the squad, who fell down to the lower bracket. They then had to claw their way back up, beating ALMGHTY from Singapore to face Blacklist, who had a twice-to-beat advantage.
During the first grand finals match, Smart Omega lost the first two games in Hardpoint at Raid and Search and Destroy at Standoff, only to take the next three to force a bracket reset. They then kept the momentum going and beat Blacklist 3-1 in the second grand finals match, to take the crown.
Blacklist Ultimate has won the last 5 championships leading up to CODM Garena Masters II.
The Soldier Of The Game for both of the Grand Finals series is Jerrold “Wooppiie” Regay. Regarded as one of the best CODM snipers in the country, Woopiee had a clutch shot on SnD on a crucial round against Blacklist.
