OPPO launches the Reno8 and Reno8 Pro into the global market. Both devices were available in China first in the early part of the year.
The Reno8 Pro features a 120Hz 6.7-inch FHD OLED display and is powered by a 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the vanilla Reno8 has a smaller 6.4-inch FHD OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
The Reno8 series also come with shared specifications, such as the triple camera setup with a 50MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro. It also has a 32MP camera in front for selfies. Battery capacity is also the same with 4500mAh capacity with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
The main camera is backed by a Sony IMX766 sensor, paired with an f/1.8 7P lens and an omnidirectional PDAF. The ultra-wide camera has a Sony IMX355 sensor with a 112-degree field of view.

In front, the selfie camera has a Sony IMX709 sensor with an RGBW matrix for improved low-light performance and a lens with a 90-degree field of view.
Price
The Oppo Reno8 Pro is coming to India with a starting price of INR 46,000 for the 8GB + 256GB version (around ~P32,400). While the OPPO Reno8 starts at INR 39,000 (~P27,500). No news yet if it’s coming to the Philippines.
