The issuance of a COA is the third and final stage in establishing a digital bank in the Philippines. The other two stages are filing an application for the Authority to Establish a Digital Bank with the Monetary Board (MB) and the Issuance of the Authority to Register with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

GoTyme Bank is a joint venture of Tyme, a multi-country digital banking group, and members of the Gokongwei Group of companies, namely Robinsons Bank, Robinsons Land Corporation, and Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc.
