Gokongwei Group’s GoTyme Bank is now official

The Gokongwei Group launches GoTyme Bank. GoTyme Bank is a joint venture between multi-country digital banking group Tyme and members of the Gokongwei Group of companies Robinsons Bank, Robinsons Land Corporation, and Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc.

GoTyme Bank uses what they call a “phygital” model, a portmanteau of the words physical and digital. The digital bank will use a combination of physical touchpoints such as kiosks and bank ambassadors that are strategically located across the Robinsons ecosystem and secure digital transactions to serve its customers. At launch, there are 15 kiosks in select Robinsons supermarkets.

GoTyme Bank also announced the GoTyme Bank debit card, which can be used for online and in-store payment transactions. Cardholders can transact from local and international ATMs 24/7. Users can also deposit and withdraw for free at Robinsons-affiliated retail outlets.
