Honor will soon launch the Honor Magic Vs foldable smartphone in the Philippines. The handset is their first foldable flagship to debut in overseas markets.
The Honor Magic Vs features two displays with DR10+ certification and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut. It has a 7.9-inch foldable OLED panel inside with a 2272×1984 resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. While on the outside, there’s a 6.45-inch OLED display with a 2560×1080 and a higher 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the foldable smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It’s wrapped in an aerospace-grade magnesium alloy frame that’s 34% lighter than the previous generation. While on the inside, a titanium alloy frame was used to make it 20% lighter than the previous generation.
In the camera department, the Honor Magic Vs is equipped with a 54MP primary camera with a Sony IMX800 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide & macro combo camera, and an 8MP 3X optical Zoom camera. For selfies and video calls, a 16MP selfie shooter gets the job done.
Other features include a side fingerprint scanner, Android 12, and a 5000mAh battery with a 66W Wired HONOR SuperCharge that can fully charge the handset in just 46 minutes.

As for the price, it will be announced when it launches officially. But if we have to guess, the Honor Magic Vs is going to be priced close to China’s price of CNY 7,499, which converts to around Php 60,000.
