realme has been making waves in the smartphone market with its GT series, offering flagship-level performance and features at affordable prices. The latest addition to this lineup is the realme GT3, which was announced in February 2023 at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 in Barcelona, Spain, and is now getting a global release.
The realme GT3 boasts a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772×1240 resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which is one of the most powerful processors available in 2023. The phone comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, with no option for expandable memory.
In the camera department, the phone features a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro lens on the back. Meanwhile, the front-facing camera is a 16MP shooter that supports face unlock. It can record videos up to 4K resolution at 60fps.
Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of the realme GT3 is its battery and charging speed. The phone has a 4600mAh battery that supports an astounding 240W fast charging. This means that you can fully charge the phone in under 10 minutes. It also has an RGB “breathing” light that wraps around a Snapdragon chip placeholder on the back, used for notifications.
The realme GT3 runs on Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 on top. The phone also has stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and dual SIM support.
The Realme GT3 is available in two colors: Pulse White and Booster Black. The price starts at $649 (around ₱35,600+) for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It comes in different configurations with the top-end variant having 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Prices for the other variants, however, have not yet been revealed.
