realme C55 launched with Mini Capsule notifications and a 64MP camera

realme launches the realme C55 which features a Dynamic Island-like Mini Capsule. The handset is coming to Indonesia first, followed by other markets.

On realme’s Indonesian website, they want us to focus on its cameras, and with good reason. The entry level handset boasts a 64MP primary lens supported by a 2MP depth sensor. It also has an 8MP front facing camera for selfies.

Moreover, the realme C55 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset with a 5000mAh battery with a 3W fast charging, and comes in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variations. It has a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch hole for the selfie camera.

However, what we find interesting is the Mini Capsule a software feature that works like Apple’s Dynamic Island. It uses the area around the punch hole to dynamically show notifications and other information, such as charging status, low battery warning, data usage, as well as the steps and walking distance of the day.
