Samsung unveils two new smartphones in its popular Galaxy A series: the Galaxy A54 5G and the Galaxy A34 5G. Apart from launching globally, the handsets are also up for pre-order in the Philippines.
The Galaxy A34 5G is the more affordable of the two, priced at ₱19,990 for the 8GB+128GB model and ₱21,990 for the 8GB+256GB model. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A54 5G also comes in two variants, 8GB+126GB and 8GB+256GB, priced at ₱24,990 and ₱26,990, respectively.
Both phones are now available for pre-order from March 15 to 30. If you buy within that period, you will get a free storage upgrade to 256GB and a free travel adapter.
The Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G follow the design and form factor of the Galaxy S23 series. Both phones have some common features such as a 6.4-inch and 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a high 120Hz refresh rate, a 5000mAh battery with 25W wired charging support, and up to 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1TB via microSD cards. They also have triple rear camera setups with OIS and different selfie cameras.
The Galaxy A54 5G is powered by an Exynos 1380 chipset with 8GB of RAM and has a 120Hz display. It has a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor on the back, and a 32MP front-facing camera.
The Galaxy A34 5G, on the other hand, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset with 8GB of RAM and a 120Hz display. It has a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor on the back, and a 13MP front-facing camera.

Both phones run on Android 13 with One UI 5.1 and come with stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos support. Samsung also promises four years of OS updates and five years of security patches.
