OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is now official with a 108MP camera, Snapdragon 695

OnePlus has unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite, along with a new pair of wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. The new phone offers a 108MP camera experience with some premium features at an affordable price.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is the successor to last year’s Nord CE 2 Lite and brings some notable upgrades in the camera and charging departments. The phone sports a 108MP main camera with a large ISOCELL HM6 sensor that can capture detailed photos and support 3x lossless zoom. The camera can also record 1080p videos at 30fps. The other two cameras on the back are a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset, a decent performer for the class, and comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage, with a microSD slot for expansion of up to 1TB SD cards. It runs on OxygenOS based on Android 13.

The Nord CE 3 Lite features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 680 nits and Gorilla Glass protection. The display has a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC charging, which can charge the phone from zero to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. The phone also has a SuperVOOC Endurance Edition feature that prevents overcharging and extends the battery’s lifespan.

The phone has some other features that give it a good value proposition, such as stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone comes in two colors: Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray.

The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 are the second generation of OnePlus’ wireless earbuds, and they come with active noise cancellation (ANC) and transparency modes. They have an in-ear design with silicone tips and touch controls, powered by 12.4mm drivers with Dolby Atmos support.

They have a battery life of up to five hours with ANC turned on, up to seven hours with ANC turned off, and up to 36 hours with the charging case. It also has an IP55 dust and water resistance rating, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and AAC codec support.

The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is priced at INR20,000 (~P13,300) for the 8GB+128GB model and INR22,000 (~P14,600) for the 8GB+256GB model. The Nord Buds 2 will cost INR 3,000 (~P2,000). Both the phone and the TWS are coming to select markets this month.
