POCO F5 and F5 Pro are now official, priced in the Philippines

POCO is known for providing premium features at an affordable price.

POCO, the smartphone brand known for providing premium features at an affordable price, has just unveiled its latest F5 series. The new series consists of two devices, the POCO F5 Pro and the POCO F5.

The POCO F5 Pro is the first POCO device to feature a WQHD+ 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay. The display measures 6.67 inches with a 16MP selfie shooter under a small hole punch and an in-display fingerprint scanner, underneath a Gorilla Glass 5 panel.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. In the Philippines, it will be available in three variants: 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. It is equipped with POCO’s latest LiquidCool Technology 2.0 with a huge 5000mm Vapor Chamber.

The battery capacity is 5160mAh. POCO claims its 67W turbocharging takes you to 50 percent in only 15 minutes, while the 30W wireless charging can get you to 50 percent in just 32 minutes.

At the back, there’s a triple-camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens. The cameras are supported by OIS+EIS, giving them an edge in low-light photography.

It comes in 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants, and boasts a 5000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging that POCO says can fully charge the phone in just 46 minutes.

The phone also sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, but unlike the Pro version, it has a 1080p resolution. It does retain the 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.

It also has a 64MP primary camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro lens. While at the front, a 16MP shooter takes up selfies and video-calling duties.
