Nothing, the smartphone brand founded by former OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, has launched its second flagship phone, the Nothing Phone 2. The phone is a major upgrade over the Nothing Phone 1, which debuted last year as a design-focused device with modest specs.

The Nothing Phone 2 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole selfie camera. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

One of the highlights of the Nothing Phone 2 is its rear camera system, which consists of a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The phone also supports up to 4K video recording at 60fps and Live HDR at 4K and 30fps. The front-facing camera is a 32MP shooter.

The Nothing Phone 2 also boasts a 4,700mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging via USB-C. The phone also supports 15W wireless charging and 5W reverse charging.

It runs on Android 13 with the Nothing OS 2 on top, which offers features like the Glyph Interface, an ambient lighting system that changes colors according to notifications, music, and other factors.

The Nothing Phone 2 also retains the transparent back design of the Nothing Phone 1, which showcases the internal components of the phone. It has an IP54 rating for water and dust resistance and comes with stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
