HONOR Philippines is gearing up to launch a new smartphone with an industry-leading 200MP rear camera on August 15, 2023.
The company teased the upcoming device on its official Facebook page. It will feature a high-resolution display, a powerful processor, and a state-of-the-art camera system. The device will also have a premium and elegant design, according to the company.
HONOR Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng said the new smartphone is “the next big thing in the Philippine tech market” and will offer flagship-level performance at an affordable price.
“We are excited to launch what we believe is the next big thing in the Philippine tech market. Packed with an array of specs at par with flagship products, this phone is a testament to our promise to GO BEYOND this 2023,” Cheng said in a statement.
The company did not reveal the name or model of the new smartphone, but some are speculating that it could be the HONOR 90, which was launched in China earlier this year. The HONOR 90 features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Accelerated Edition processor, and a triple-camera setup with a 200MP main sensor.
