HONOR is set to bolster its smartphone lineup in the Philippines with the upcoming launch of the Magic6 Pro. Announced in January, the flagship brings a top-notch camera system and a long-lasting battery.
The Magic6 Pro fronts a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 2344×2156 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, peak HDR brightness of 5000 nits, peak global brightness of 1600 nits, and HONOR NanoCrystal Shield glass protection.
Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also has a 5600mAh battery which topped DXOMARK’s battery rankings. It also supports 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging.
One of the phone’s highlights is its cameras. The Magic6 Pro has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a whopping 180MP periscope telephoto camera with 2.5x optical and 100x digital zoom, aided by OIS. It also has a 50MP selfie camera with a 3D depth-sensing for face unlock.
At the time of writing, these cameras earned the phone the top spot at DXOMARK’s smartphone camera rankings, beating both the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
So far, HONOR PH has not yet mentioned when they plan to release the device in the country. But expect it to happen soon.
As for the pricing, it will be revealed at launch. However, in Europe, the HONOR Magic6 Pro is priced at €1,299 (around P79,200).
