HONOR phones dominate DXOMARK battery rankings

Only two models on the list are available in the Philippines.

HONOR dominates the DXOMARK battery rankings, with its smartphones occupying the top five positions.

DXOMARK tests smartphone battery performance for autonomy (how long a charge lasts, a.k.a. battery life), charging (how long it takes to recharge), and efficiency (how effectively the device manages its battery during charge up and discharge).

At the top of the list is the new HONOR Magic6 Pro, which has a 5600mAh battery with 80W fast charging and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Followed by the Magic6 Lite and the HONOR X9b, both with a 5800mAh battery, 35W fast charging, and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1.

At the time of writing, these are the top 5 smartphones on DXOMARK’s battery rankings:

  1. HONOR Magic6 Pro – 157 points
    5600mAh, 80W fast charging, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
  2. HONOR Magic6 Lite (5800mAh variant) – 156 points
    5800mAh, 35W fast charging, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1
  3. HONOR X9b – 156 points
    5800mAh, 35W fast charging, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1
  4. HONOR Magic5 Lite 5G – 152 points
    5100mAh, 40W fast charging, Snapdragon 695
  5. HONOR X7b – 151 points
    6000mAh, 35W fast charging, Snapdragon 680

Interestingly, the HONOR Magic6 Lite (5300mAh variant) and the HONOR X7a are also in the top 10, ranking 7 and 8, respectively. While the OPPO Find X6 Pro, realme GT Neo 5 (240W variant), and the OPPO Reno6 5G round out the list, occupying the 6, 9, and 10 positions.

Notably, the HONOR X9b and HONOR X7b are the only two models in the top 5 that are available in the Philippines.
