ACMobility’s BYD Cars Philippines has exceeded its advocacy goals in support of cancer patients. On April 14, 2026, the company turned over a ₱770,000 donation to the Healthway Foundation’s Cancer Care Hope Fund at the Healthway Cancer Care Hospital.
The initiative was tied to the limited-edition BYD Seagull in the Seashell Pink campaign, launched in July 2025. Originally set with a target of 70 units by year-end, the campaign closed with 77 units sold. Proceeds were directed to the Cancer Care Hope Fund, which helps ease the financial burden of treatment for Filipino cancer patients and their families.
Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines, said the effort reflects ACMobility’s value of malasakit, or compassion. “It is about going beyond what is expected and finding ways to create a positive impact in the communities we serve,” he noted.
Healthway Medical Network President and CEO Jef Peeters highlighted the importance of the partnership. “Cancer care goes beyond treatment — it is about caring for the whole patient, including the emotional, financial, and social challenges that come with the journey,” he said. He added that the fund allows patients to access timely treatment while easing the strain on families.

The Healthway Cancer Care Hospital is the first specialty facility of its kind in the Philippines. The donation strengthens its mission to deliver patient-centered care and expand access to quality healthcare.
