Xiaomi unveiled the latest member of the Redmi K60 Series, the Redmi K60 Ultra, which features the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, a 144Hz display, Wi-Fi 6, and a 50MP main camera.
The Redmi K60 Ultra boasts a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels. The screen is powered by a dedicated PixelWorks X7 chip that enhances the visual quality and performance.
The phone has a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front-facing camera is a 20MP sensor that supports HDR and 1080p video recording. The phone also has stereo speakers, an infrared port, NFC, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is equipped with a 5000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, which can fully charge the phone in just 17 minutes. The phone runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top, and it comes with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC is the highlight of the Redmi K60 Ultra, as it is one of the most advanced processors in the market. The SoC is based on a 4nm process and has an Immortalis-G715 GPU that supports hardware ray tracing, which can handle complex lighting and shadows in games and graphics applications.
The smartphone supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and dual-SIM dual-5G connectivity. It also has stereo speakers, an improved VC cooling system, MediaTek HyperEngine 6.0 technology that optimizes gaming performance and battery efficiency, and an IP68 dustproof and waterproof certification, a first on a Redmi K Series device.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is available in China. It is available in black, white, and green colors, and it starts at CNY 2,599 (around PHP 20,150 or USD 355) for the 12GB+256GB base model. The 24GB+ 1TB top-end model costs CNY 3,599 (PHP 28,900 or USD 492). There is no word yet if the phone will be available in other markets.
