realme has been making waves in the smartphone market with its affordable and feature-packed devices. Their latest offering is the realme 11 Pro+ 5G, a flagship phone that boasts a 200MP main camera, a Dimensity 7050 processor, and 100W fast charging support.

Design & Display

The realme 11 Pro+ 5G has a stunning look with a vegan leather back and a strip in the middle that gives the phone a premium feel and a better grip. Our review unit is in Sunrise Beige color, which offers a more luxurious aesthetic. Another option is the Oasis Green color.

The design was done in collaboration with Matteo Menotto, a former Gucci Prints Designer and Bulgari’s Head of Design for Prints, who brought a touch of luxury and elegance to the smartphone.

The realme 11 Pro+ 5G has a plastic frame that curves around the edges, making it comfortable to hold. The phone also has a dual SIM tray, a USB Type-C port, and stereo speakers at the top and bottom. However, it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, which isn’t surprising in midrange phones nowadays.

The realme 11 pro+ 5G has a round camera module at the back, which houses three cameras and an LED flash. The camera bump is slightly protruding, but not too noticeable. It also has a fingerprint scanner under the display, which is fast and accurate.

The realme 11 Pro+ 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, a 6nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.6 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. It is paired with a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU for graphics performance. The phone also comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The phone does not have a microSD card slot. It does offer up to 12GB RAM expansion for a total of 24GB.

The phone runs on Android 13 with realme UI 4.0 on top. The user interface is smooth, responsive, and customizable, with features like dark mode, smart sidebar, game space, digital well-being, and more. The phone also supports dual nano SIM cards, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, GPS, and 5G connectivity.

The realme 11 Pro+ 5G delivers excellent performance in daily tasks like browsing, messaging, social media, streaming, etc., as well as in heavy tasks like gaming, multitasking, editing, etc.

It can also handle most games (such as Genshin Impact, PUBG, and Call of Duty Mobile) at reasonable graphics settings without any lag or major heating issues.

Battery

The realme 11 Pro+ 5G packs a massive 5,000mAh battery that easily lasts for a full day of moderate to heavy usage, with activities that include streaming, messaging, and browsing.

The phone’s 100W SUPERVOOC fast charger charged the battery from 20% to 100% in just 25 minutes. While a 15-minute charge yielded around 45%.

Final Remarks

The realme 11 Pro+ 5G is a great phone that offers a lot of value for money. It has a stunning design, a smooth display, decent performance, a huge 512GB storage, a capable 200MP camera, and incredibly fast charging.

Some of its drawbacks are the lack of a microSD card slot, headphone jack, and water resistance. However, these are minor issues that don’t overshadow the phone’s strengths.
