OPPO confirmed the launch date of its next foldable flip phone, the OPPO Find N3 Flip. The company announced on its official Weibo account that the Find N3 Flip will be unveiled on August 29 in China, along with a new smartwatch, the Watch 4 Pro.
The Find N3 Flip is OPPO’s second foldable phone, following the Find N2 Flip that was released globally earlier this year. The Find N3 Flip features a clamshell design that folds in half, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5.
The Find N3 Flip’s camera system is co-engineered with Hasselblad, a renowned Swedish camera maker that also partnered with OnePlus for its flagship phones. The flip phone’s camera module has a circular shape and houses a triple camera setup, which is a first for flip phones.
OPPO has not revealed any details about the Find N3 Flip, but according to rumors, expect to see a large 7.82-inch inside display and a 6.31-inch outer display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will also come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, 12GB of RAM, and Android 13, according to a recent listing on Geekbench.
Its predecessor, the well-received OPPO Find N2 Flip, packed powerful and innovative features, including a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and OPPO’s MariSilicon X Imaging NPU, alongside a flagship 50MP Sony IMX890 camera, and a 4300mAh battery with 44W fast charging. We should expect the upcoming Find N3 Flip to introduce some upgrades.
Alongside the Find N3 Flip, OPPO will also launch the Watch 4 Pro, a successor to the Watch 3 Pro that was released last year. The Watch 4 Pro will have a curved rectangular screen with a rotating crown and a button on the side. It will come in two colors, namely black and silver, and two strap options.
