OnePlus announced the launch date of its latest operating system, OxygenOS 14, which will be one of the first OS based on Android 14. OxygenOS 14 will offer users an elevated fast and smooth experience with innovative features and technologies.
OxygenOS 14 will launch globally on September 25, 2023, according to a press release from OnePlus. The new OS will introduce a range of exciting features designed to deliver enhanced user experiences, such as improved privacy and security, adaptive brightness and sound, smart home control, and more.
One of the highlights of OxygenOS 14 is the Trinity Engine, a brand-new proprietary performance platform that achieves greater synergy between hardware and software. The Trinity Engine will unleash the full potential of OnePlus handsets to address industry-wide challenges in pursuing higher power consumption efficiency, better multi-tasking capability, and more enduring fast and smooth experience.
The Trinity Engine consists of six innovative technologies: CPU Vitalization, RAM Vitalization, ROM Vitalization, HyperBoost, HyperTouch, and HyperRendering. These technologies optimize the performance of the CPU, RAM, ROM, battery, touch screen, and graphics rendering respectively.
