OPPO officially launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the OPPO A98 5G, in the Philippines.
The device boasts a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 64MP triple rear camera system with a 40x microscope function, and a 32MP selfie camera. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also packs a 5000mAh battery with 67W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
The OPPO A98 5G is priced at ₱18,999 and will be available in Dreamy Blue and Cool Black color options. Customers who pre-order the device from September 12 to 21, 2023, will receive exclusive freebies including a pair of wireless earbuds. The pre-order period will also offer discounts and vouchers for OPPO products and services.
The OPPO A98 5G can also be purchased through installment plans for as low as ₱762 per month with zero interest. The device is compatible with all credit cards for six or 12 months installment plans, or with Home Credit for up to 18 months installment plans.
The OPPO A98 5G is the latest addition to the OPPO A series, which aims to provide users with a premium smartphone experience at an affordable price. The device features a sleek design with a curved back and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also comes with ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13, which offers a smooth and intuitive user interface.
The OPPO A98 5G is equipped with a versatile camera system that is capable of capturing stunning photos and videos in various scenarios. The main camera has a 64MP sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and autofocus support. It can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps with electronic image stabilization and video zoom.
