The show, which premiered on August 31, 2023, follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew of Straw Hat pirates as they search for the legendary treasure known as the One Piece.
The first season of the show, which consists of eight episodes, covers the East Blue saga of the original story, introducing the main characters and their motivations. The show is co-created by Steven Maeda and Matt Owens, who also serve as executive producers along with Eiichiro Oda, the original creator of One Piece.
